 There is a host of information available on the internet about buying and selling real estate. It is an industry that profoundly affects Billions of people across the globe. In the United States licensing, best practices, rules, regulations and real estate law vary from State to State and even region to region.

Globally, the acquisition and disposal of real estate holdings take on a whole net set of international rules, regulations and legal considerations.  

After thirty full time years in the industry as a real estate Developer, Business Analyst, Realtor, Broker, Mortgage Broker, active Association Member and owner of two successful real estate and mortgage companies, experience has taught me many things about the process of buying and selling real estate. Under the best of conditions, the process can be arduous and frustrating for consumers and professionals alike.

I am retired now from active involvement as a Broker, Agent or Originator, but I do still coach and mentor realtors, loan originators and consumers seeking answers to real questions related to this process.

I will be writing articles, and sharing information and insight on this site weekly that I hope consumers and professionals will find interesting and informative, so check back often for new entries of original content.

In my travels as an Association Member, and teacher and trainer, I have made and sustained incredible relationships with some of the best in the business. By ‘best’ I mean professionals who are highly qualified, competent, savvy, people of integrity in all of their business dealings, and who are always successful because they are reliable and hard working. Even in difficult times, they are working for their clients best interests.

I am inviting many of them to contribute articles to this section of Freedoms Process as their busy schedules permit, or as they are inspired.

I am involved and committed to this project because I see a need for honest, straightforward dialog between professionals and consumers regarding one of the most important investment decisions most people will ever make in their lives.

It’s about educating consumers what they need to know about the process, rather than telling them what they want to hear. It’s about responsibility and accountability as professionals in this industry, and it’s about exposing the scams and unscrupulous business practices that continue to plague this industry by the few. It’s about taking the mystery out of real estate and lending contracts, documents, and disclosures by presenting information in easy to understand plain English.

Freedoms Process is all about helping people to be freed of various ‘problems’ that are common among human beings in an encouraging and supportive manner, and real estate and mortgage lending is just part of the whole, but it is an important part because it has such serious consequences when its many implications are misunderstood.  

There is so much information coming at us today from so many ‘angles’, it is difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff, especially in an industry wrought with convoluted complexity and rampant misinformation.

This is “The Inside Story” consumers desperately need.
